SHORT FILM CONTEST
In the edition of 2021, Terre da Film Festival focuses on the theme of the identity. Identity as a choice. Identity as a mirror. Identity as a departure or a new point of arrival. Identity as belonging to a place or a dear event. Identity as a perpetual condition of research.
We select short films that speak of this search in a broad sense, of changing places, people and contexts.

Ange-Marie is a 45-year-old fisherman living in Corsica. He lives with his brother and his old mother in a secluded place where women are scarce. One day, returning from fishing, Ange-Marie finds himself alone on the "cow beach" and sees three beautiful bathers. The image of these women then haunts him and draws him to the sea.

Que viva is a short animation on the theme of bullfighting, in which looks and faces are like guns or bullfighters. A reflection on the struggle and the act of seeing, the encounter between the victim and the spectator's gaze through the bullfight, seen both as a ritual sacrifice and as a cruel fight.
